NowcastPH is a free, real-time weather nowcasting dashboard that provides smart hyperlocal weather forecasts for any location worldwide. Get accurate, up-to-the-minute weather information powered by a 7-model ensemble averaging GFS, ECMWF, ICON, GEM, JMA, MET Norway, and Météo-France weather models. While optimized for the Philippines, NowcastPH works for any location on the globe.
Current Weather Conditions
View real-time temperature, feels-like temperature, current precipitation and rainfall intensity, wind speed and direction with gust data, UV index following WHO international standards, and US EPA air quality index (AQI) for your exact location. Each condition includes a color-coded comfort scale and 24-hour forecast sparkline.
Weather Forecast Features
Detailed forecast charts are available for 6-hour, 12-hour, 24-hour, 48-hour, and 72-hour periods. Near-term forecasts (0–6 hours) use high-resolution 15-minute data from the best available weather model. Longer-range forecasts blend all seven international weather models for maximum accuracy and reliability. Temperature charts show gradient-colored bars with auto-ranging axes. Precipitation forecasts include both incremental and accumulated rainfall.
Flood Risk Assessment
NowcastPH calculates flood risk using a composite of forecast rainfall accumulation, your location's elevation from SRTM satellite data, GloFAS river discharge forecasts, and soil moisture conditions. Flood depth is classified following international standards: safe (0–10cm), caution (10–25cm, ankle height), warning (25–50cm, knee height, cars at risk), and danger (50cm+, impassable). Ideal for flood-prone areas in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Marikina, Pasig, and other Philippine flood zones.
Satellite and Radar Imagery
Live Himawari-9 satellite infrared imagery from NASA GIBS shows cloud coverage and storm systems across the Philippine archipelago. RainViewer radar precipitation maps display real-time rainfall patterns with interactive zoom controls. Both maps include your location marker for easy orientation.
Outfit and Clothing Recommendations
Smart outfit recommendations based on current and forecast temperature, humidity, UV exposure, rain probability, wind speed, and air quality. Includes specific suggestions for upper body, lower body, footwear, sunscreen SPF levels, rain protection, and wind gear appropriate for Philippine tropical weather conditions.

NowcastPH works for any location in the Philippines with street-level precision using OpenStreetMap Nominatim reverse geocoding. Popular locations include Metro Manila (Makati, Quezon City, Taguig, Pasig, Mandaluyong, BGC, Ortigas, Alabang), Cebu City, Davao City, Iloilo, Bacolod, Zamboanga, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Tagaytay, Subic, Clark, Boracay, Palawan, Siargao, and all 81 provinces, 146 cities, 1,488 municipalities, and 42,000+ barangays across the Philippine archipelago.
Weather Data Sources
All forecasts combine data from seven international weather models: NOAA GFS (USA), ECMWF IFS (Europe), DWD ICON (Germany), CMC GEM (Canada), JMA (Japan), MET Norway, and Météo-France. Additional data from GloFAS flood forecasting, NASA GIBS Himawari-9 satellite, RainViewer radar, and Open-Meteo air quality API. No PAGASA dependency — all data sourced from open international APIs with no authentication required.
